Men's soccer falls to Wolfpack to finish off road weekend

Heat drop 4-0 decision against the Wolfpack

Box Score KAMLOOPS, B.C. - The UBCO Heat finished off the President's Cup opening weekend, falling to the TRU WolfPack 4-0 on Saturday evening.

First-year goalie Tyson Gugushe, a product of Vancouver, B.C., had a notable first half this evening with his second start of the season. The rookie keepwe saved five of the shots he faced from the TRU Wolfpack

After opening the scoring in the 31st minute, the 'Pack would add three second half markers.

Jacob York - UBCO Heat

The fourth-year management student from Port Coquitlam, B.C. played an aggressive match this evening by taking advantage of every opportunity given and contributing to the team's strong offensive efforts

Ryan Lewis - TRU WolfPack

The third-year forward from Nelson, B.C. had a heavy contribution towards the Pack' victory this evening scoring his first career hat trick.

WHERE THEY SIT

With the loss, the Heat are sitting fifth in the Canada West Pacific Division with a 3-7-0 record.
