BUCKEYE, Ariz. – The UBC Okanagan Heat men's golf team concluded their Arizona trip with a three-day tournament at the Stack Cougar-Burro Collegiate, finishing 13th with a team total of 56-over par 920.
The tournament featured two rounds at Verrado Golf Club before the final round shifted back to the Golf Club of Estrella.
Andrew Rouble (Wellesley, Ont.) led the Heat individually, finishing five-over par with a score of 221. First-year
Chris Jo (Oakville, Ont.) recorded an eagle during the event, and both Jo and Rouble showcased their consistency, each by tallying 37 pars to tie for fifth in the field. As a team, the Heat recorded 161 pars across the three rounds, ranking seventh overall in this category.
With their Arizona campaign complete, the Heat will now begin preparations for the BC Match Play Championship set to tee off March 31 to April 1 in Abbotsford, B.C.
