Men's volleyball (7-1) returns home this weekend after a commendable road sweep against the UFV Cascades. The Heat will battle the Thompson Rivers WolfPack (2-6) in a pair Presidents' Cup showdowns.

The Heat swept TRU in October preseason play, and with that insight, a four-game win streak, and the best start in program history, they look to extend their momentum and secure crucial Cup points against their rivals. UBCO will need to win both games to prevent the WolfPack from claiming this year's men's trophy as TRU currently leads the head-to-head series in soccer, basketball and volleyball 3-0.

Last weekend against UFV, Zach van Geel had a huge performance, dishing out 42 assists on Friday and 44 on Saturday across two four-set victories. Meanwhile, Thys Weststrate fired off 25 kills with .568 efficiency, adding 6 solo blocks and 9 assisted blocks, for 36.5 total points, putting him in the lead for Canada West blocks per set.

Women's volleyball (3-5) is also on home court this weekend as they welcome the Wolfpack (6-2) for a pair of weekend matchups in search for Presidents' Cup points.

The women split their exhibition games against the Wolfpack back in September with a 3-2 five set win in their second matchup. UBCO will be looking for two wins this weekend, which would clinch them the women's Presidents' Cup trophy as they current lead the season series in soccer, basketball and volleyball with a 2-0-1 record.

Last weekend, the Heat fought hard but ultimately fell short to the U SPORTS No. 10 ranked UFV Cascades. Excelling in the second set on Friday with a .310 hitting percentage, Kylan Finseth was an essential player for the team that night tallying 20 assists and six digs.

Women's basketball (5-3) is on the road this weekend as they travel to Langley to take on the Trinity Western Spartans (6-2), looking to extend their win streak to three games.

These teams faced each other three times last season, with the Heat winning two of the matchups. Their final meeting in January saw the Heat dominate with a 78-50 victory, where every player contributed to the scoresheet.

Last weekend, the Heat earned back-to-back wins over the UNBC Timberwolves, sweeping the season series with strong team performances. The strong weekend began on Friday with a standout performance from fourth-year forward Lily Pink, who posted a season-best 20 points, 10 rebounds, and three three-pointers, powering the Heat to their 72-48 victory. The momentum carried into Saturday's matchup, where Tennyson McCarthy came out with a regular season-high 13 points, along with seven rebounds and two steals helping complete the weekend sweep.

Men's basketball (3-5) will also head to Langley this weekend, ready for an action-packed doubleheader against the Spartans (2-6).

The men are coming off a weekend sweep of their own against UNBC. Friday's matchup featured explosive scoring from third-year guards Isaak Moore and Lamine Conde, who combined for 57 points to power the team to an 86-74 victory. On Saturday, Mike Adarkwah-Nti had a night himself scoring a career-high 22 points, including three crucial free throws in the final minute to complete the impressive 18-point comeback to close out the weekend.
