Seba Manuel sets career high in kills with 16 as Heat drop four-set decision

The first two sets of the match proved to be a challenge for the Heat as the Bisons outplayed them 25-21 and 25-14.

In the third set of the match, the Heat gained some momentum keeping even in scoring against the Bisons with notable kills from Kelowna's Thys Weststrate and a big block from captain Teo Ardanaz of Tsawwassen, B.C., proved to be what the Heat needed to go the distance and capture the set victory 26-24.
Outside hitter Seba Manuel, also a product of Kelowna, B.C., was an offensive force to be reckoned with tonight setting a career-high of 16 kills alongside a pair of service aces.
Sam Jablonski, a second year outside hitter from Kelowna, B.C., had a night as he earned his first two service aces back-to-back with the Heat fighting to try and keep his team in reach of the Bisons in the final set of the night.
In the fourth set of the night the Bisons outscored the Heat to take the final set 25-18 to take the match three sets to one.
