KELOWNA, B.C. - The UBC Okanagan Heat women's volleyball team were downed in four sets (25-22, 17-25, 25-17, 25-20) by the Thompson Rivers WolfPack on Saturday afternoon at The Furnace.

After hitting .133 percent in yesterday's loss, the WolfPack were able to turn the tides with an improved .283 percent in their winning effort.

The Heat were paced by Kendall Stephan, a fourth-year from Springwater, Ont., who capped off a productive weekend with a career-best 13 kills. Coming off 10 kills last night, the hitter led her squad on the afternoon to finish the weekend with 23 kills.
Hellen Luvizetti Lacava, from Brazil, also had a strong game for the Heat with eight kills, eight digs, and four service aces.
