PERSONAL: She has a slew of achievements on the court, including a U18 National Team Challenge Cup victory with her U17 Team Alberta in the summer of 2014. With a pen at her fingertips, she won her highschool’s Academic Award for maintaining the highest GPA of her class for three straight years, a number in excess of 90%. In her spare time, Thompson has mentioned herself as doing activities such as downhill skiing, and cross-country running, she was also in her highschool band as a violinist, as shes played since the age of three.

• Played in all 24 conference games for the first time in her career
• Had a career-high 13 service aces on the season
• Was named a Heat Scholar-athlete and Academic All-Candian for the second straight season
• Recpient of the Female Provost Award for Excellence (two semesters)
