PERSONAL: Kaitlynn was selected for Team BC 20U Women's team along with four past teammates (Katy Klomps, Katie Wuttunee, Emily Oxland, Brianna Beamish) that participated in the 2013 Canada Games. She was the 2012 AAAA Provincial Championship MVP after leading the Kelowna Owls squad to provincial gold. Kaitlynn has played in the BC Summer Games for Team Okanagan, played for Team BC 16U in 2010, and Team BC 16U in 2009 as a 15U athlete. In the summer of 2009 and summer of 2010 she competed at the Western Canadian Elite Championships with Team BC. In the fall of 2011 Kaitlynn was voted number three overall in the Province's Top 10 recruits feature, ranking as the top outside hitter in BC. Given was a finalist in the Kelowna Civic Awards for the Augie Ciancone female high school athlete of the year.

- Finalist for both the UBC Okanagan Graduating Player of the Year and the UBC Okanagan Student Athlete of the Year
