Biography

UBC OKANAGAN 2013-14: Played in 18 out of 22 Canada West matches for the Heat ... hit a season high 9 kills and put up a season high of 18 digs and 5 blocks against Alberta (Jan 24) ... tallied 42 kills on the season ... put up 71 digs in league play.

UBC OKANAGAN 2012-13: Jill played in 19 of 22 Canada West matches for the Heat ... smacked 55 kills during the season ... finished with 11 service aces ... compiled 56 digs during the season ... had 14 total blocks ... had a season high 20 kills against vs Calgary (Jan 19) which tied a team high for the season.

UBC OKANAGAN 2011-12: Played all 20 possible Canada West matches for the Heat ... smacked down a season high 10 kills against Winnipeg (Oct 28) and put up a season high of 18 digs against Thompson Rivers (Feb 10) ... won the Coaches' Award for the Women's Volleyball team ... named CIS Academic All-Canadian.

UBC OKANAGAN 2010-11: Won a provincial gold medal with the Heat in the final year of play in the BCCAA ... contributed to an incredible 13-1 BCCAA season win/loss record ... made 4th place at CCAA Nationals ... won CCAA National Scholar award.

UBC OKANAGAN 2009-10: Won a BCCAA provincial gold medal and the CCAA National Championship ... contributed to a perfect record of 16-0 in the BCCAA season ... named BCCAA Rookie of the Year and made the BCCAA All-Star Rookie team.

PERSONAL: Jill is currently enrolled in the Irving K. Barber School of Arts and Sciences in the Arts program ... younger sister Megan Festival joined the Heat in the 2012-13 season, allowing the sisters to realize a rare opportunity of siblings playing side-by-side in Canada West ... won Alberta Club Provincial Championships in 4 of 5 years competing with her Canuck Stuff team ... won a National Bronze Medal in 2008 and a National Silver Medal in 2009 with the Dinos Volleyball Club, also selected to the National Championship All-Star team in 2009 ... played for Team Alberta in 2007 and 2008.
