Biography

PERSONAL: Erin was an Okanagan Valley AAAA Championships All-Star in 2012 and formerly developed her game through the Junior Heat Volleyball Club with Steve Manuel. Other accomplishments include: All Tournament Volleyball Team at Northwest Jamboree (2012), 1st place at Northwest Jamboree in Yakima, Washington (2012), Grade 11 Principal’s List with Distinction (4.0 GPA), Grade 10 Principal’s List with Distinction (4.0 GPA).

CAREER: For her career Drew has an attack percentage of .306, an average that would put her top-ten for career marks if she had the requisite attempts to make that list. Drew also has been one of best blockers in the programs history as she has 245 total blocks which is the third best in Heat history. Her .96 career blocks per set also puts her in third spot in the schools history behind jsut Katy Klomps and Marisa Field.

  • Played in nine of 22 matches totalling three service aces
  • USPORTS Academic All-Canadian 

UBC OKANAGAN 2014-15 (2ND YEAR)

  • Had 21 kills on a career high .319 hitting percentage and 28 total blocks in 12 matches for the Heat
  • Recipient of the UBC Okanagan Heat Scholar-Athlete Award
  • Finalist for the UBC Okanagan Female Provost Award for Excellence (Two semesters)
  • USPORTS Academic All-Canadian

UBC OKANAGAN 2015-16 (3RD YEAR)

  • Played in 17 matches totalling 34 total blocks, 33 kills, 27 digs and 10 service aces
  • Recipient of the UBC Okanagan Heat Scholar-Athlete Award

UBC OKANAGAN 2016-17 (4TH YEAR)

  • Only missed one of 24 matches 
  • Career-high 89 kills on the season
  • 76 total blocks along with 49 digs and 29 service aces
  • Recipient of the UBC Okanagan Heat Scholar-Athlete Award

UBC OKANAGAN 2017-18 (5TH YEAR)

  • Would have her best season in her Heat career as she finished with a career-high 159 kills and a team-high 106 total blocks.
  • Drew would rank among the top blockers in all of Canada, averaging 1.2 blocks per set which was second-best in Canada West and put her in the top five in the country.
  • Finalist for UBC Okanagan Female Graduating Player of the Year
