PERSONAL: Sarah started developing her soccer skills playing community soccer in her hometown of Vernon. She eventually relocated to Kamloops when her stock rose to a level that caught the attention of the Kamloops Development Team, whom she would play for. It wasn’t long before she was on the road again, this time to Calgary, where she was immediately selected to play at the tier one level. Histed has competed in two Provincial tournaments and played in Vancouver Whitecaps, President’s Day, and Surf Cup Show Case tournaments in addition to her regular duty with her high school squad. A versatile player with high work ethic, her 2012 Alberta Provincial team made the trek to Nova Scotia to compete in the National All-Star tournament.
