Biography
PERSONAL: As a tenacious lock down defender from Immaculata, Johnson started on her school’s senior team since the tenth grade and all three of those years she was a first team All-Star on a BC High School Provincial championship squad. In her grade 12 year, the Mustangs played in ‘AA’ and still captured the championship, not only was Emma a first team all-star but was also named the top defensive player at the tournament as well. This has made Johnson one of the top 15 high school players of 2015 as voted by coaches province wide.
UBC OKANAGAN 2015-16 (1ST YEAR)
- Named a USPORTS Academic All-Canadian in her first season with the team.
- Played in all 20 conference games for the Heat
- Had her best performance of the season against Thompson Rivers where she had eight points
UBC OKANAGAN 2016-17 (2ND YEAR)
- For the second consecutive year, the Kelowna native played in all 20 Canada West games
