PERSONAL: Grant played for Team Alberta 17U in 2010 before graduating from Jasper Place High Schoo. Grant was an invaluable member of his team when it came to helping with community outreach, coaching the sport or club teams, or teaching volleyball to elementary school-aged children. He was always ready to help within the athletics department as well as with his team or the other student athletes. Grant graduated with his Degree in Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering last June, and he decided to keep playing when he was accepted in a graduate program on the Okanagan campus of UBC and has spent his final season marrying his studies and research with his athletic pursuits.
MACEWAN UNIVERSITY 2011-12 (1ST YEAR)
- Grant played in 16 of 25 ACAC matches and 24 of 96 possible sets in his freshman year
- Recorded a season high six kills and nine digs against Concordia University College
UBC OKANAGAN 2012-13 (2ND YEAR)
- Played in six matches and started in one during his first year in Heat uniform after transferring from MacEwan
- He recorded two kills on 14 attacks and tallied seven digs
- Was named to the USPORTS Academic All-Canadian team

- Grant played in three matches during his second tour with the Heat.
