PERSONAL: A Kelowna native and graduate of Kelowna Secondary School, Devon was The Province’s 2014 B.C. high school boys volleyball Player of the Year. Cote has played on the provincial team on three separate occasions along with being a three-time first team all-star at the BC Boys AAA High School Volleyball Championships. Along with his talents on the court, Devon has also won a title in Brazilian jiu-jitsu.
UBC OKANAGAN 2015-16 (1ST YEAR)
- He was a finalist for the UBC Okanagan Male Rookie of the Year
- Was named to the Canada West All Rookie Team
- Played in all 24 conference matches this season including starts in 12 of 24 matches. Most of any freshman outside hitters in the conference.
- 1st overall in total kills for rookie outside hitters (100), and 1st in total points (110).
UBC OKANAGAN 2016-17 (2ND YEAR)
- Finishe the season with 108 kills, 10 service aces and 128.5 points to lead all second-year players on the team
- Closed out the season with three straight double-digit kill matches against Thompson Rivers and MacEwan
UBC OKANAGAN 2017-18 (3RD YEAR)
- Had his best season for the Heat as he finished second on the team in kills with 197
- Also had 117 digs, 25 total blocks and 13 service aces
