Biography

PERSONAL: Funk comes to the Heat after playing three seasons each with the Strathmore High School Spartans and the Canuck Stuff Volleyball Club. In 2016 Caleb finished third at the National Team Challenge Cup as a member of Team Alberta, and was selected for the Youth National Development Program.

UBC OKANAGAN 2017-18 (1ST YEAR)

  • Was named the UBC Okanagan Male Rookie of the Year
  • Named to the Canada West All-Rookie Team
  • Played in all 24 conference matches and finished with 82 kills to lead all rookies on the team
  • Was also a shutdown defender as he led the team with 60 total blocks
