PERSONAL:

UBC OKANAGAN 2014-15 (1ST YEAR)

  • Was a named UBC Okanagan Male Rookie of the Year.
  • Led all Canada West rookies averaging 12.9 points a game along with 34.7 minutes a contest.
  • Was a member of the Canada West and USPORTS All-Rookie team.

UBC OKANAGAN 2015-16 (2ND YEAR)

  • Averaged 14.3 points a game thanks to shooting an astonishing 95% from the free-throw line.
  • Hit one of the most memorable shots in conference history with a half-court buzzer beater to beat Mount royal 87-84 on home court.
  • Dropped a career-high 32 points against UNBC on Nov.13th.

UBC OKANAGAN 2016-17 (3RD YEAR)

  • Led the way for the Heat with 17.6 points per game thanks to over 40 percent shooting from behind the arc, along with a team-high 3.25 assists per game.
  • Was the 7th-leading scorer in the Canada West.
  • Hit a season-high seven threes in a game on his way to 29 points against Regina.

UBC OKANAGAN 2017-18 (4TH YEAR)

  • Averaged 37.2 minutes a game in conference play which was the highest in all of Canada West.
  • Finished the season averaging a team-high 15.1 points a game thanks to 42% shooting from behind the arc and 87% shooting from the free-throw line.
  • Was a finalist for the Male Provost Award for Excellence (two semesters) and Male Outstanding Athlete of the Year award.

UBC OKANAGAN 2018-19 (5TH YEAR)

  • Berrios averaged 38.5 minutes a contest in his senior season which set a new Canada West record for minutes per game.
  • The sharp-shooter would break the school record in terms of points in a career in a season-opening win against the Trinity Western Spartans.
  • He became the first Heat player in program history to record a triple-double against UFV on Dec. 1st and is just the 11th player in Canada West history to achieve the feat.
  • In his final campaign he would finish the year averaging 14.7 points a contest and has averaged double-figures in terms of points in all five of his seasons with the Heat.
