PERSONAL: With her Assiniboia high school team, Ann was named co-captain in her grade 11 and 12 seasons, and earned consecutive MVP honours those same seasons. In club competition, she played for the 17U Assiniboia Aces side in her grade 10 year, finished second provincially with the 18U JCVC side in her grade 11 year, and finished third in the province in her grade 12 year with the Regina Volleyball Club's 18U squad. Richards also competed in the 16U Canada West Championship with Team Saskatchewan in 2012, was chosen as a 17-year-old to play with Team Saskatchewan (21U) in 2013 at the Canada Summer Games in Sherbrooke, Quebec, and was a member of a Project China team that traveled to Shanghai in December 2012.

- Started for the Knights in the season-opener, hitting .400 with five kills and a block
- Hit .667 with four kills on six swings against UConn
- Tallied six blocks against UC Irvine
- Smacked a career-best nine kills against Tulane
- Went error-less in six matches, including three consecutive (Sept. 17-25)
- Hit .400 or better in nine matches
UNIVERSITY OF CENTRAL FLORIDA 2016-17 (3RD YEAR)
- Named to the Holiday Inn Orlando East UCF Area Invitational All-Tournament Team
- Recorded 84 kills in 20 matches played
- Tied a career-best 11 kills against Kent State
- Recorded six digs against Memphis to tie career-best
UBC OKANAGAN 2017-18 (4TH YEAR)
- Finished the regular season with 226 and 191 digs which were both fourth most on the team
- Had her best performance in a Heat uniform in the final regular season game against Manitoba where she had 18 kills on 31 attempts
- Finalist for UBC Okanagan Female Athlete of the Year
- Honoured as an Academic All-Canadian
UBC OKANAGAN 2018-19 (5TH YEAR)
- Led the UBCO attack with 239 kills in her senior season while also racking up 157 digs and 40 service aces.
- Set a new career-high with 22 kills against the Saskatchewan Huskies at the end of November
- Had six double-doubles on the season as well
