Biography

PERSONAL: A graduate of Immaculata Regional Highschool, she was part of the Junior Heat before signing on with the varsity squad. Siobhan is in the Bachelor of Science program and was designated a Chancellor’s Scholar for her high school academic achievement.

CAREER: Fitzpatrick has found nothing but success in her career with the Heat as the Kelowna product has reached the Canada West Final Four in all four of her playing seasons. Her 548 kills puts her in the top-10 in Heat history while her 472 digs puts her in 12th place in program history. Fitpatrick has been a model student-athlete throughout her career as she has achieved Academic All-Canadian status in every season of her career.

  • Played in 10 of 24 league matches this season
  • Finished her first season with 13 kills and 18 digs 
  • Finalist for the UBC Okanagan Female Rookie of the Year
  • Finalist for the UBC Okanagan Female Provost Award for Excellence
  • USPORTS Academic All-Canadian

UBC OKANAGAN 2015-16 (2ND YEAR)

  • Saw playing time in 18 of 24 matches 
  • Totalled 35 kills, 34 digs and nine total blocks in her second stint with the Heat
  • Named a USPORTS Academic All-Canadian
  • Recipient of the Heat Scholar-Athlete award
  • Finalist for the UBC Okanagan Female Provost Award for Excellence (two semesters)

UBC OKANAGAN 2016-17 (3RD YEAR)

  • Led the team with 256 kills for the season, along with a career-high 30 service aces.
  • Played in all but one Conference match
  • Recipient of the UBC Okanagan Female Student Athlete of the Year award
  • Named a Heat Scholar-Athlete for a second time
  • Named a USPORTS Academic All-Canadian
  • Finalist for the UBC Okanagan Female Provost Award for Excellence (two semesters) for a second consecutive year

UBC OKANAGAN 2017-18 (4TH YEAR)

  • Finished second on the team in kills with 246 and also had 224 digs.
  • Had ten double-doubles (kills/digs) on the season including a stretch in the middle of the season where she had five straight and six out of seven.
  • Season-high game against Saskatchewan on Jan.27th when she had 17 put-downs.
  • Was named the UBC Okanagan Female Student Athlete of the year for the second time
  • Co-winner of the UBC Okanagan Female Graduating Player of the Year award
  • Finalist for the Female Provost Award for Excellence (two semesters) for the third straight season
