PERSONAL: He has been named to two Team Alberta squads, once for 16u beach volleyball, and then with the 17u indoor provincial team. Coming out of highschool he was "one of the most dominant high school right sides in Alberta" at 6'6" he is a huge block, with great leaping ability and an explosive swing. Kyle comes from a volleyball family with siblings that have also played post-secondary volleyball. His older brother plays for the UBC Thunderbirds and also the Canadian Sitting National Team.
UBC OKANAGAN 2016-17 (1ST YEAR)
- Was Named to the Canada West All-Rookie team
- Finished third on the team in kills with 174, and third in total points with 211.5
- Helped the Heat set a men's program record in Canada West wins (9) and started in every match he played
- Career high 15 kills on two occasions (vs Saskatchewan and vs MacEwan)
UBC OKANAGAN 2017-18 (2ND YEAR)
- Had 10 kills in the season-opener against UBC along with seven digs
- Played in just four matches in his second season due to injuries
