KELOWNA, B.C. — The UBCO Heat lost 2-0 to the Thompson Rivers WolfPack on Sunday at Nonis Sports Field. The Heat held the WolfPack scoreless over the final 11 minutes despite several attacks on net and could not cut into the deficit.

The Heat's goalkeeper, Ronan Woodroffe, recorded seven saves over 90 minutes, including five in the first half. Will Armitage finished with two shots to share the team lead with Mosi Klusman.

Leading TRU was Kaelin Nguyen, who scored the game-winning goal and tallied three shots on goal, while Rory Clements netted a goal on his lone shot. Goalkeeper Matteo Lamon played all 90 minutes in goal and made one save to record a clean sheet.

The WolfPack outshot the Heat 10-2 in the first half, put seven attempts on goal, and earned all four corner kicks. Nguyen scored in the sixth minute, and Clements added another in the 17th, giving TRU a 2-0 lead at halftime. Woodroffe made five saves for UBCO, including three from the 41st minute through the end of the frame.
