Kylan Finseth led the Heat in assists with 24, showcasing her role as a key playmaker over three sets. Meanwhile, Madison Gardner made an impact with two service aces and tied for a team-high of 7.5 points, contributing both offensively and from the service line.

In the first set, the Winnipeg Wesmen defeated the Heat 25-18. Faith Solecki and Natalie Funk delivered key blocks, while Amaya Perry contributed three kills. Despite these efforts, the Heat's attack was hampered by errors and just couldn't overcome Winnipeg's consistent pressure.

The Wesmen capitalized on these mistakes and delivered strong performances, with Selva Planincic and Jaya Dzikowicz making significant contributions to the Wesmen scoring.

In the third set, Marija Josipovic led UBCO with multiple kills, contributing significantly to the team's score. However, Winnipeg managed to pull ahead and secure a commanding lead, despite a service aces from Heat players Amaya Perry and Madison Gardner. Winnipeg's consistent pressure and effective blocking proved decisive, securing their three set match victory.
