Heat outshot 21-5 but key saves from Talia Gagnon and two points off the bench from rookie Brooke Burrows lift Heat to crucial 2-1 victory

VICTORIA, B.C. — The UBCO Heat women's soccer team (3-5-2) came away with a 2-1 victory over the Victoria Vikes (4-3-3) on Saturday at Centennial Stadium.

Talia Ganon shone in net for the Heat making 12 saves, including stopping a second-half penalty and despite being outshot 21-5, UBCO capitalized on second-half opportunities, scoring twice to secure the win.
