Women's cross country moves into a tie for ninth in U SPORTS Top 10

Ahead of this weekend's Canada West Championship, Heat move up one spot and sit as the third-best team in Canada West

KELOWNA, B.C. – The UBCO Heat women's cross country team moved up the U SPORTS rankings on Tuesday morning as the team is now tied for ninth in the Top 10 with the Guelph Gryphons.

The ranking improvement comes ahead of this weekend's Canada West Championship which will be hosted by the Victoria Vikes on Vancouver Island.

UBCO also continues to sit as the third-highest ranked team in the conference, putting them in prime position to earn a spot on the conference podium on Saturday.
 
Following the Canada West Championships, the Heat will travel to Sherbrooke on Saturday, November 8 for the U SPORTS Championships.
