Women's basketball is back at home this weekend as they look to extend their win streak to three consecutive games against the Spartans.
Last weekend the women fell to the UFV Cascades in a tough pair of games. On Friday night, veteran Kelsey Falk led the way for the Heat as she recorded her first double-double of the season, and 19th of her career, as she posted a team-high 13 points along with 10 rebounds. On Saturday night, in the final minutes of a close game, the Heat ran an in-bounds play for Falk, who hit a turn-around jumped at the buzzer to send the game to overtime but sadly it was not enough to conquer the Cascades as they fell 84-75 in the weekend's closing game.
