KELOWNA, B.C. - The UBC Okanagan Heat men's volleyball took a straight sets loss to the Brandon Bobcats (25-20, 25-13, 25-13) on Saturday at the Furnace, as
Zach van Geel and
Cade Hudson both set career-highs.
Traditionally a setter, van Geel, a second-year from Calgary, led the Heat's offensive attack with nine kills, while Burnaby, B.C.'s Hudson set a new career-best marker with 23 assists.
The Bobcats hit .386 percent as a team en route to their second-straight win over the Heat.

Playing the match away from his usual position, van Geel led his team in kills (nine), blocks (two) and digs (six) in UBCO's loss.
Tom Friesen - Brandon
The 6-6Â hitter from Reinfield, Man., led his team with 10 kills off .600 percent hitting, while chipping in with a season-best six blocks.
WHERE THEY SIT
Saturday's match extended a pair of 6 game streaks. For UBCO, it was their sixth consecutive loss, moving to 4-10 on the season. The Bobcats win their sixth straight and improve to 8-6, sitting in fifth place in the Canada West standings.
