University of Saskatchewan Stymied By UBC Okanagan, Lose 8-1

Saturday was a long day for University of Saskatchewan, falling to UBC Okanagan 8-1. The ace went five innings, allowing one run on five hits, striking out eight and walking zero. Lauren Pollard took the loss for University of Saskatchewan. The pitcher lasted six innings, allowing ten hits and eight runs while striking out four. Haley Jaman led University of Saskatchewan with two hits in three at bats. UBC Okanagan totaled ten hits. Roeseler and Kasey Wright each collected multiple hits for UBC Okanagan.
