Maria Georgacacos finished her sophomore season with a sensational four-goal weekend. In the Heat's matchup against the Thompson Rivers WolfPack, the Calgary native made good on both of her shots on target, scoring her fifth and sixth goals of the season. On Sunday, Georgacacos helped UBCO erase a two-goal deficit, finding the back of the net in the 83rd minute before scoring the equalizer in added time. Her relentless attacking paid off when it mattered most, as she headed home a cross from teammate Megan Sun to secure a hard-fought draw. Georgacacos ends the 2026 campaign ranked third in the conference and 13th in U SPORTS with eight goals. This marks the second time this season she has earned the honour.
