Pepin was the hero for the Heat this past weekend as they won their second CCSA national championship in program history. Facing the Calgary Dinos in the gold medal game, Pepin came off the bench and with the bases loaded in each at bat, delivered two bases-clearing hits to post 6 RBI in an 8-1 victory. The first year arts major finished her first national championship hitting .400 with a double and 7 RBI in five games to help the Heat end the season on an incredible 28-game unbeaten streak.
 
This marks the first time this season, and first time in her career, that Pepin has been named an Athlete of the Week.
