Women’s Basketball Lauren Foullong takes home Athlete of the Week honours powered by Meal Prep for You, for the week ending on February 2nd.

Foullong had her best weekend of the season as the Heat swept the Thompson Rivers WolfPack to claim the 2024-25 women's Presidents' Cup for the school. The fourth-year guard shot 37.5% from three-point range over the two games, well above her season-average of 27.5%, and connected on 9 three-pointers over 2 games. After an efficient night from the floor in limited minutes on Friday, in which she scored 13 points in just 16 minutes, Foullong went off on Saturday, scoring 27 points, two off her career best, while adding 4 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 steal. Her performance gives her 40 three-pointers this season, fourth best in the Canada West conference and just five shy of her own school record for most three-pointers in a single season.


This is the first time this season and second in her career that Foullong has been named Athlete of the Week.
