Women's Volleyball Amaya Perry takes home Athlete of the Week honours powered by Meal Prep for You, for the week ending on January 12th.

Perry had a strong all-around weekend for the Heat as they battled the No. 1-ranked UBC Thunderbirds on home court. On Friday night, she moved up to seventh all-time in Canada West history for career aces with a pair against the T-Birds, while also adding six kills and three digs. Then, during Saturday’s five-set thriller against UBC, she had 12 kills to go along with 19 digs, one off her career-high, along with an ace and a block for 14 points. Perry now sits at 154 aces in her Heat career, two shy of moving into a tie for fifth all-time in conference history.

This is the first time this season and third in her career that Perry has been named Athlete of the Week.
