Women's softball Taryn Lamb takes home Athlete of the Week honours powered by Meal Prep for You, for the week ending in October 6th.

Lamb had a monster weekend at the plate to help lead the Heat to their third WCSA Championship in the last four years. The second year third baseman batted .400 over the Heat’s five games, hitting four home runs along with 7 RBI as well as seven runs scored. Her fourth home run of the weekend was in walk-off style as her solo shot in the bottom of the eighth inning gave the Heat a 7-6 win over Calgary and advanced them to the championship game.

This is the first time this season and in her career that Lamb has been named Athlete of the Week.
