Coming off a week of rest, women's volleyball (2-0) is on the road as they head to Calgary for a pair of matches against the Calgary Dinos (0-2).

The Heat opened their season two weeks ago by sweeping the Brandon Bobcats, winning their Friday home opener 3-1 (25-23, 25-22, 22-25, 25-18) and followed it with a 3-0 (25-16, 25-18, 25-19) sweep the next night. Outside hitter Korey Jenkins led the Friday attack with 16.5 points from 14 kills and two service aces, while adding 14 digs. Jenkins also shared the lead on Saturday with opposite Marija Josipovic, who posted six kills, three aces, 10 digs, and four blocks.

UBCO holds a 12-12 all-time conference record against Calgary, winning their most recent meeting in January, 3-2 (25-19, 23-25, 25-22, 20-25, 15-8). The team will look to sweep this weekend's matches to break out of the historical tie.

Men's volleyball (1-1), ranked No. 7 in the latest U SPORTS Top 10, is back in action as they travel to Calgary for a doubleheader against the Calgary Dinos (0-2).

UBCO is coming off a split following their previous matchups against the now No. 10-ranked Brandon Bobcats in late October. Fifth-year middle Thys Westrate had an impressive showing, as he tied a school record with seven aces in a single match in their 3-1 (25-13, 25-12, 23-25, 25-16) Saturday win.

The Heat own a 7-19 all-time record against the Dinos but are coming off two victories in their two meetings last January, 3-0 (25-20, 25-23, 26-24) and 3-0 (25-19, 25-13, 25-21). UBCO will look to extend their winning streak over Calgary this weekend and continue their climb up the rankings.
