The Heat are riding a strong win streak as they head down to the Vancouver campus for a pair of games against their sister school rivals, the U SPORTS No. 1-ranked UBC Thunderbirds. The two teams last faced off in November, and now, the Heat are ready for another shot at the top-ranked team.

Last weekend, the Heat took control of the TRU WolfPack, securing a 42-point victory on Friday to defend the Presidents' Cup for the fourth consecutive season. This win not only secured them the trophy but also set a new record for the largest margin of victory in team history. The Heat then returned on Saturday to complete the weekend sweep, breaking another record for the fewest points allowed with a 64-29 victory. Lauren Foullong had a season-best of 27 points, and with her current total of 40 three-pointers, she is just five away from breaking her single-season record of 45.
