Women's volleyball is back at home this weekend as they are set to face the U SPORTS No. 2 nationally ranked UFV Cascades. On Friday the women's team will host a school day game where over 700 elementary and middle school students from nine schools across the Okanagan will be in attendance followed by a Saturday afternoon rematch.

Last weekend, in their second game of their doubleheader against Trinity Western, the Heat scorched the nationally-ranked Spartans in a massive three-set victory to return to .500 on the season. Olivia Boulding and Amaya Perry were the secret to their team's success as the pair combined for 24 of the team's 39 kills, with Boulding hitting a sparkling .444 percent while committing zero errors.

Second-year forward Tennyson McCarthy led the way offensively for UBCO as she posted a career-high 17 points, shooting 7-for-11 from the floor, including a perfect 2-for-2 from three-point range, to go along with four rebounds and two blocks.
