HEAT THIS WEEK: Volleyball opens season at home, men's soccer plays season finale

The Canada West regular season begins for the Heat volleyball teams as men's soccer ends their year on home turf

KELOWNA, B.C. - The anticipated home openers for the volleyball programs are the highlight of the Heat's schedule this week while men's soccer ends their year at home. Men's and women's basketball take on out-of-conference opponents as they close out the preseason.

The Heat are 13-7 all-time at home against the Wesmen and recently defeated Winnipeg in five sets to win the Bisons-Wesmen Classic during the preseason. The Heat's 13 wins last year was their most since 2017-18.

Third-year forward Malchi Emerson (Surrey, B.C.) leads his squad in goals (2), points (3), and shots (15) this year. Prior to Sunday's matchup, the Heat will recognize their three graduating seniors, Giuliano Montagliani, Jacob York and Jacob Sol.
