It was a record-setting weekend for fifth-year goalkeeper Ronan Woodroffe, who further cemented his place among the greatest goalkeepers in Canadian university men's soccer history. On Friday in Langley, B.C., Woodroffe turned away three shots against the Trinity Western Spartans, keeping the Heat in the contest in a narrow 1-0 loss. The following night in Victoria, Woodroffe became the Canada West career saves leader, making 10 saves against the Victoria Vikes to record the 357th save of his career. In doing so, he surpassed Tyrone Venhola of the UNBC Timberwolves, whose mark of 356 saves had stood for the past nine years. The 10-save effort was Woodroffe's third double-digit save performance in his last four matches.
