Third-year golfer Julia Alexander-Carew won for the second time in consecutive weeks as she took home the individual title at the Las Vegas Warrior Invitational, helping women’s golf win their second straight team title in the process.
 
Earning the ninth win of her Heat career, Alexander-Carew finished the three-round NAIA tournament at one-over par 217, highlighted by an opening round that saw her shoot three-under par 69. The performance left her 11 strokes clear of her nearest competitor, winning by double-digit strokes for the second straight week.
 
This marks the third time this season, and ninth time in her career, that Alexander-Carew has been named an Athlete of the Week.
