Alexander-Carew got her spring season off on a winning note as she captured the eighth individual championship of her career to help lead the Heat to their second tournament win this season at the RMC Intercollegiate at Lake Las Vegas.
 
The third-year was at her usual dominant self at Reflection Bay Golf Club as she won by 12 shots, finishing at two-under par 214 over three rounds. She showed little signs of rust in her first competitive rounds since early November, opening with a four-over par 76 before shooting two-under par 70 in round two, firing four birdies to just one double-bogey. Wednesday's third round was even better as she carded six birdies and a double-bogey to shoot four-under par 68.
 
This marks the second time this season, and eighth time in her career, that Alexander-Carew has been named an Athlete of the Week.
