Women’s Basketball Tsuki Tsuzuki takes home Athlete of the Week honours powered by Meal Prep for You, for the week ending on January 26th.

Tsuzuki put together the best weekend of her rookie campaign as they Heat split their road swing against Trinity Western and Victoria. On Thursday, she posted 12 points, 7 assists and 4 steals in helping the Heat pick up a huge victory to push them back into a playoff spot in the Pacific division. She followed that up with a strong game on both ends of the floor against the Vikes, scoring 16 points, one off her season-best, while adding 6 steals, one off the Heat single-game record. Tsuzuki now sits second on the team in scoring this year, averaging 9.3 points per game.

This is the first time this season and in her career that Tsuzuki has been named Athlete of the Week.
