Men’s Volleyball Ashton South takes home Athlete of the Week honours powered by Meal Prep for You, for the week ending on November 17th.

South had another strong weekend in the middle for the Heat as they went toe-to-toe with the U SPORTS No. 4-ranked Trinity Western Spartans this past weekend. The national team athlete recorded 14 kills while hitting .435 percent in the two games, while adding 1 solo block, 7 assisted blocks, 3 aces and 3 digs. In Saturday’s victory over the fourth-best team in the country, South had 7 kills, 3 aces and 3 blocks for 11.5 points. He also added a spectacular assist during Friday’s game against the Spartans for setter Zach van Geel.

This is the first time this season and in his career that South has been named Athlete of the Week.
