Opening the season in Calgary on September 5, the Heat will challenge the Canada West silver medalists Dinos in the season opener on Thursday night.

After a long trip to Prince George, the Heat will try and take the bite out of the UNBC Timberwolves, just two days after playing in Calgary, on Saturday, September 7 at noon.

After UBCO's home opening weekend on September 13-14 against both Edmonton teams, Alberta and MacEwan, the Heat will make another long trek, this time to Manitoba.

In Winnipeg, the Heat will take on the Wesmen on Friday night (Sept. 20) and then the Bisons on Saturday night (Sept. 21).

Adding it up, the Heat will have played six matches in 16 days in four cities to start the season. Stops in Calgary, Prince George, Winnipeg, and home again to Kelowna, all of this travel for the team while simultaneously trying to attend their first weeks of university classes. How the team fares during that stretch will set the tone for the rest of the season.

In an effort to be more fan friendly the Heat will play five of their seven home matches with a 5:30 p.m. start time. Two home matinees will also be played at UBC Okanagan's Nonis Sports Field, as the matches on Saturday, Sept. 28 and on Sunday, Sept. 29 will boast a 1 p.m. kick-off.

For fans looking to watch much more of the soccer action, 2019-20 Canada West TV passes are now on sale, with the best early-bird pricing available until the end of June. An all-access pass ($79.99), or a soccer sport pass ($31.99), can be purchased by clicking here.

The Canada West postseason will run for a pair of weekends until a conference champion emerges from the Final Four on November 3. The Victoria Vikes host the U SPORTS women's national championship, as the annual event stays in the west and runs Nov. 7-10.
