He grew up in the small town (under 1000 people) of St.Walburg Saskatchewan, and developed his passion and philosophy of golf there.
“I was 13 years old when they built the St.Walburg golf course; little did I know that it would be that golf course that would ignite a fire in my belly throughout my teenage years for the game of golf,” explains Hritzuk. “I would play before school, after school, and on my school’s golf team.”
“Since then golf has taken me around the world. It has provided me with countless opportunities, and it didn’t take me long to discover that ‘opportunities’ is what golf truly has to offer. Opportunities to learn a skill, to travel, and to see the most breathtaking landscape in the world! It also offers, more importantly, opportunities for personal and emotional growth, for learning to trust yourself and your ability, to learn how to truly focus, and an opportunity to feel free, calm, and happy as you enjoy one of the things you love most, Playing golf.”
