Heat women at 24th Annual McGill Redbird Classic

The UBC Okanagan Heat women's basketball team will take part in the annual tournament in Montreal with three games scheduled as a part of the Redbird Classic basketball tournament, Oct. 13-14, at Love Competition Hall, inside the Sir Arthur Currie gymnasium.

With only a single exhibition game played so far this year, an 86-51 win over the visiting Vancouver Island University Mariners (Sept. 29), the Heat will use the three games another tune-up for the upcoming Canada West conference season.

Playing in the feature match on Friday night in Montreal versus the host McGill Martlets, the Heat will follow that up with a Saturday game against the Bishop's Gaiters and then on Sunday morning a test against the Ryerson Rams.
