The 2019 Canada West soccer schedule was unveiled on Thursday with UBCO playing nine of their 16 matches on home turf this season.

With the extra home dates, the Heat - who historically find better results on their home turf - will look to return to the Canada West postseason after a two-year absence.

The home opener for the Heat is August 23 against UNBC in a Friday night match. Those two will play again on Saturday (Aug. 24) with both matches to start at 5:30 p.m.

Still on their home turf, the Heat host two matches on the Labour Day weekend against Victoria on Saturday and then UBC on Sunday.

For the fans this season UBC Okanagan will host five evening matches on the Nonis Sports Field.

Under the lights with 7:30 p.m. start times highlight these home matches: Fri. Sept. 13, Sat. Sept. 14, and Thu. Oct. 10.

For fans looking to watch much more of the soccer action, 2019-20 Canada West TV passes are now on sale, with the best early-bird pricing available until the end of June. An all-access pass ($79.99), or a soccer sport pass ($31.99), can be purchased by clicking here.

The Heat have a bye weekend as the CW regular season play concludes Sunday, October 20. The conference playoffs open the following weekend and will take two weeks to decide on a CW champion on November 3.

Following the CW Final Four, the top men's squads from across the nation will head to Montreal, where the defending national champion UQAM Citadins will host the U SPORTS nationals Nov. 7-10.
