Saturday night was the UBCO "KidSport Night" as they once again partnered with KidSport Kelowna to host the special game night in the Furnace.
Not only was free admission given to school/sports/club sports teams who wore their jerseys and all youth under the age of 12.
Many events were brought on during the night games with the funds going to the community-based charity.
As always, the highlight was the Paper Airplane Throwing Contest during the halftime of both the women and men's games.
The Heat and KidSport Kelowna have had one feature game a year since 2012 and in that time nearly $5,000 raised.
KidSport™ Kelowna was launched in 2002 and provides grants for local children 18 years and under to participate in sports.
