KELOWNA, BC - UBC Okanagan Athletics is launching a new look and design to its website for the 2017-18 season. Partnering with PrestoSports, the new design will offer a mobile-first user experience while using the same url (goheat.ca).
The new site provides fans, parents, alumni, student athletes and media a great place to follow or connect with all the happenings in Heat Athletics.
PrestoSports is known for their responsive design optimizing the experience for users on mobile devices so the site looks great and is easy to navigate regardless of platform. Making the best use of your screen size and orientation, the new site will also provide a great experience for those that find themselves checking in on the Heat from their desktop or laptop.
If you want to check on the score of the Heat volleyball teams playing out of town while you are in the UBC Okanagan Gym watching the basketball game in person, you can easily do that with the redesign.
Integration with information from Canada West will allow live scoring updates and game results in real time plus team and individual statistics for all Canada West conference action.
The launch of the new site coincides with the releases of Canada West's 2017-18 schedules. The schedule for soccer was released on June 15 while schedules for basketball and volleyball will be released on June 20 and 21 respectively.
